As Rose stepped forward, Vienna moved to walk alongside her, looking ahead of them as she thought of the girl’s question. “I’m doing well. To be honest, I’d much rather be continuing traveling with my father as we did all summer, but I suppose coming back to Hogwarts is unavoidable. Don’t get me wrong, I love school, and I love my classes, but I do feel bad leaving him alone during the school terms…” She trailed off, the volume of her voice lowering as she did so after realizing that she had been rambling on and on. “Sorry. I do tend to talk a bit too much. I give you full permission to tell me to hush up if I ever talk a bit too much, just so you know,” Vienna gave Rose a small smile, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear.

The cold breeze made her pull her jacket tighter around her small frame, wishing that she had brought a scarf along with her. It being September, the fall and winter weather were setting in, and she wasn’t too excited about it if she was being honest. Looking over at the other girl, she raised an eyebrow as she asked, “What about you?”

It had been an interesting week for Vienna Rhodes. A very interesting week indeed. Well… maybe interesting wasn’t the correct word for it. Insightful? Life-changing? Who knows. Definitely not Vienna. Possibly the word for it would be indescribable. Marcus had opened up to her. Finally. After so many years of being distant and calling her names and tossing petty insults at her for her blood status, he confessed that he didn’t feel that way about her. In fact, he felt the complete opposite. She couldn’t quite wrap her head around it, and lately, to be honest, she’d been avoiding him. Vienna didn’t do the ‘fancying someone’ thing. And if she did… she much preferred to just sit on the sidelines and admire the individual from afar.

Letting out a sigh, Vienna stood from where she had resided on the windowsill, staring out into the night sky, and slipped on a pair of socks. She figured that shoes were quite useless if she was just going for a stroll with a mate. Running a hand through her hair, she exited the dorm and made her way through the common room - leaving Ravenclaw tower so she could head down to the courtyard, where she had told Rose to meet her at. As she approached, she saw that the redhead girl arrived before she had, and she grinned as she made her way over to her. “Hey, Rose. I hope you weren’t waiting too long for me.” She greeted.
